A return nightmare

<p>RRN-9de1-2e68 refers. A book was delivered to my partner as a gift. Upon realising that he already has the same book, it was returned in the same packaging that it arrived in. The inspection team noted that they cannot refund me as the book is peeling. </p> <p> </p> <p>Disappointing service as the item was not even used. </p> <p>Send the book back ... at least I'll have a book instead of taking my money and keeping the damaged item you delivered - then indicated I damaged the item. </p> <p> </p> <p>After years of dealing with takealot under a different profile, I can say that the service, packaging, delivery and quality of service has degraded substantially over the last 12 months. </p> <p> </p> <p>Pity I opted for takealot credit on my previous return. Don't feel like wasting money on this business.</p>
