A FACELESS COMPANY THAT DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

I have shopped on Takealot for a number of years without incident. However. my recent order was short delivered by one item. It is now 2 weeks later, and I have now dealt with 5 different people who all promise 'to look into it' . I'm also told that they are not allowed to give out a manager's contact details. So, I'm dealing with a faceless company who has trained its staff to just say 'we'll look into it' - what does that even mean?? Very poor service indeed. A company is known by how it handles complaints, not by how it handles orders. I will definitely be looking to use Amazon or similar for my next online purchase. Poor show, Takealot!
