A CAUTIONARY TALE - Avoid Takealot Courier Services (TFS) at All Costs

I am writing this review as a desperate warning to all Takealot sellers. If you are considering moving your courier services to TFS (Takealot Fulfillment Services), I beg you to reconsider. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.

DO NOT MOVE from your current courier. STAY PUT.

I made the switch, and it has been the most costly business decision I've made. TFS lost multiple boxes of my stock with a total value of R30,000. That is a devastating blow for a small business.

But the loss itself is only part of the problem. The complete and utter lack of care and communication is what makes this situation unforgivable.

Zero Updates: I have called, emailed, and tried every channel possible. No one can tell me where my stock is. There are no updates, no tracking information, and no answers.

No One Cares: When you finally get hold of someone, you are met with indifference. It feels like you are shouting into a void. There is no sense of urgency, no accountability, and no compassion for the significant financial loss they have caused.

No Help Whatsoever: The support system is non-existent. Tickets are opened and then ignored. Promises of call-backs are never fulfilled.

To any Takealot seller reading this: The risk is not worth it. The infrastructure and customer service at TFS are abysmal. You are trusting them with your livelihood, and they have proven they are not capable of handling that responsibility.

They have shown me that as a seller, my business and my losses mean nothing to them. I have lost R30,000 and countless hours of my time trying to resolve an issue they created.

Learn from my massive mistake. Stick with a courier that has a functional tracking and support system. Do not let your stock become another forgotten box in the TFS black hole. in this december
