TAL is a ***** facilitator and hiding behind POPI - I have been struggling to get details of a debit on my bank account for R4950 - Takealot claim the good were delivered but refuse to provide details of what was delivered and to who. My bank advised that the transaction was “approved “ during a session when I was browsing the TAL website and that TAL confirmed the goods were delivered and the bank can therefore not do a return claim unless Takealot agree. I never ordered anything and nothing was delivered to me yet takealot claim they delivered the goods and if I want to take it further I must make a case at the SAPS - during a phone call one of the TAL operators stated that they can see there is something odd on the account but will need to get their finance department to do the refund - nothing materialized- it is now 6 months later
