Takealot Cancelled My Order After More Than Two Weeks

I am extremely disappointed with Takealot.

I ordered three barstools at R899 each and waited more than two weeks for delivery. My delivery was scheduled for tomorrow, yet today I received notification that Takealot had cancelled my order and refunded me.

What makes this particularly concerning is that the same seller, Onika M, is currently showing two of the exact same barstools as available on the Takealot website, but now at a significantly higher price.

I do not accept this resolution.

After waiting more than two weeks and having an expected delivery date already confirmed, I expect Takealot to investigate why my order was cancelled when two units of the same product apparently remain available.

My reasonable resolution is simple:

I expect Takealot to honour the original R899 price for the two remaining barstools and arrange delivery by the end of this week. I am prepared to accept the refund/credit for the third chair that is no longer available at R899 and source that one elsewhere.

I have screenshots and documentation showing the original order, price, expected delivery date, cancellation and the current availability of the same product at a higher price.

This is not simply a refund issue. It is a complaint about the handling of an already-placed order, the apparent availability of the same stock, and the subsequent higher pricing.

I am requesting urgent escalation and a written explanation from Takealot.
