3 Week overdue deivery

We placed an order the week before Xmas and was informed that we could expect delivery on the Thursday before Xmas. It's now 3 weeks later and still no delivery. Like *** man - the gift is for someone that is travelling tot he UK this week - so would we have to pay for additional courier costs - getting it there????
