1st Purchase - worse experience ever!!

<p>I placed an order on Wednesday with Takealot.co knowing I wouldn't receive it in time for Christmas I opted to collect from the Montague Gardens warehouse. I made an EFT payment yesterday for the goods and I received an e-mail stating that the goods will be ready on the 22nd December 2012. I also phoned in to confirm payment was made and stressed the urgency of my order. I spoke to Astley Alaart and she mentioned that as soon as I receive payment confirmation I should phone in which I did. I placed another order which I paid for via credit card I got an email to say collection can be made 22/12/2016. </p> <p>The 2nd order was only ready for collection today. I asked someone to collect on my behalf and they did it as a favour to me. The guy had to wait in the que for more than an hour and only got the one order. When I phoned in to complain I spoke to Keegan he advised the were two items on my first order they did not have because it had to come from JHB. I then asked him to cancel those two items as I can't wait any longer. He then assured me the order was now ready for collection. When the guy who went back for a second time to collect they told him the order is not ready. I really cannot expect these people to go back and forth everytime. Another issue I had it that they advertise you can pay cash on delivery but when I placed my orders I did not have that option. if its in the terms and conditions they should state that on their telephone answering system. Not false advertising. I will most certainly NOT order from them again!</p>
