1 plate gas stove. I want my money back

So I bought a 1 plate gas stove from takealot. When the package arrived, it was not closed, so I requested for it to be returned and have my money refunded because 1st it was not closed, chances of it not working are plenty hence I had doubts. Funny enough when the package was collected and returned to their warehouse they sent me an email saying they won't refund me because I have damaged the package but at that time it came to me like that. I didn't even open it because from the way it was you could tell that was something wrong with it. 2 days after they returned the package back to me and I returned it back to them, still I didn't want it, I didn't even attempt to open it because they take me for a fool. worse they brought it back in a different packaging.
