(1) Misrepresentation of advertised Daily Deal and (2) Trouble getting refund

(1) WRONG PRODUCT:

Takealot advertised a Mellerware Juno Pressure Cooker (Jenni Morris endorsed) with their 28 June 2017 Daily Deal. I bought the product, but was delivered the older version of the Juno pressure cooker. I notified them of the error on the 29th and returned the product on 01 July.

Was notified via email (on 03 July) that the item was not available and they created a credit on my account.

* How can they be out of stock, if there were sufficient stock when I bought the item?

* Did they misrepresent the item, when they advertised it on their Daily Deals?

* And just sending you and email to say the item is not available, is that their way of client service?

(2) STRUGGLE GETTING A REFUND

Expressed my dissatisfaction with their service with my 05 July reply and requested a refund, instead of the credit.

Astley Alaart emailed me on 06 July confirming my choice of a refund, which I did. He then informed me that his Finance Department will contact me, with his 07 July email.

The next person to email me was Stacy (on 09 July), requesting my banking details. Because of security security reasons, I don't email banking details. So I emailed her declining her request. Anyway, why should I email it, if it can be found on My Account on Takealot?

Then I got an email from Lestine Arendse (on 11 July). Again she requested my banking details and again I declined to email the details.

Naqiebah Brown next emailed me, again asking for my banking details. Again I declined.

Is anyone taking ownership of queries?

Why must banking details be emailed, when it's already loaded on My Account?
