We ordered an iPad and a smart watch for my children. The box was delivered but in it was no iPad and no watch! There was just a random cable inside. Trying to get hold of someone was like pulling teeth and we were pushed from one person to the next. Every time we contacted someone we are asked to repeat our details and no one has been helpful. We finally received an answer and were refunded for the watch but nothing for the most expensive item- the iPad. Someone else then rep**** and said: “we have reached out to the warehouse who is responsible fir the packing of items and they confirmed that the item was packed, weight checks for the parcel has been completed as well as a video sent to us confirming the item was packed.”

If this is true then why were we refunded for the watch?

They are therefore basically accusing us of lying and we have no recourse! We will NEVER order anything of value on Takealot again and will be telling as many people about this to warn them as possible. They are a bunch of lying ******* and should be prosecuted!
