0-Star Review: Extremely Disappointed with Takealot Christmas Orders

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Takealot. I ordered all my children’s Christmas gifts online on 3 December, giving more than enough time for delivery. The original delivery date was supposed to be around 18 December, which was perfect.

Today, I received a message saying the new delivery date is 31 December. This is completely unacceptable.

These are Christmas gifts for my kids, not items that can arrive whenever Takealot feels like it. If I had known this would happen, I would never have ordered through them. Now I’m left stressed, embarrassed, and unsure if my children will even have their presents on time.

Takealot, this is shocking service. At the very least, customers should be notified earlier or offered alternative solutions. Changing the date this close to Christmas is unfair to families who trusted your delivery timelines.

I am requesting urgent assistance and a real solution — not just an automated delay message.
