SYNC Model Management ****!

I was under contract with SYNC model management. I booked a job for FNB last year in September. Standard industry practice allows the agency 3 months to make payment to the model for their services. All other models that took part in the campaign who were signed to other agencies were paid by December last year. It has now been a year since the shoot and I have not been paid. After countless attempts to contact Sync, I have been falsely promised payment of what is owed to me however it has all been lies. Staff members from SYNC would rudely reply to any attempts to request for my payment. I am not the only model that has experienced such bad management from SYNC. There are countless others who have not been paid by the agent. None of the payment issues sit on the clients end end and it is apparent that Sync has received the moneys but are withholding it. Above this Sync has charged me a monthly fee. No other agent makes you pay a fee up front but would rather deduct after you have worked.

I would urge all models under Sync to find a new agent and all new models looking for representation to NOT sign anything with Sync. Sync is in the business of exploiting models and *****ing their money.

I would also urge all branding, advertising and media companies to boycott Sync and exclude them from all bookings because none of the money is going to their models.
