THEFT

Between the 5th & 19th January 2019 there was a substantial amount of money ****** from my premises. There was three different ****s on my property during that period whom cleaned that room unsupervised. When the theft was revealed on the 19th when my daughter went to pack her hand luggage for her trip back to the states SweepSouth was immediately notified telephonically and by mail giving all of the details requested nl dates/booking no's and names of the cleaners whom had had access during that time frame. I was assured telephonically, that this matter would not b taken lightly and that the ladies in question would be suspended and an investigation in to incident will take place. I opened a case at the police station and supp**** the case no. to them. I was assured that Senior managment was handling this and that they would come back to me with answers. I called 12.02.19 to find out what was happening as the cleaners had not been suspended and I had no feedback. I was told that it had been closed de to "lack of evidence". How can there be lack of evidence when it is clear from the bookings log in's and out that the cleaners were on my premises, and cleaned the room up on instruction from my daughter. They said they asked them and they said that they did not take anything. So because they say so that makes it so. A clean ******** record does not mean that they have never committed a crime it just means that should they have that they have not been charged due to "lack of evidence". I was ensured that the case would be relooked at and I would get this in writing, as requested, by the end of that day. We are now on 20.02.19 and still no email nor feedback as to what is being done. I never looked at Hello Peter reviews for SweepSouth before today and am sorry I did not before now as I see I am not the only person complaining about theft. I would have thought that a company who prides themselves on honesty and integrity would take these incidents more serious as it is obvious that there are ********* working for them. I actually feel sorry for the innocent cleaners who will get painted with the same brush.
