THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

I used SweepSouth (SS) as the company advertised that all of the staff who they employed were checked out and were deemed to be reliable and trustworthy. To cut a very long and torrid story short, I was relieved of all of my inherited jewellery and heirlooms from a locked and hidden security deed box. SS's private investigator found the SS person guilty but as I had only noticed the theft after 13 days they have disputed my claim and have offered me a paltry R5000 in compensation. The value of my ****** items was estimated at R250 000 odd. My insurance company have also rejected the claim as there were no signs of break-in and she was allowed into my home with my permission. May I just draw everyone's attention to take note of SS T & C''s and to also make sure of your Insurer's T & C's' relating to domestic workers.

Hello Debbie,
Thanks for your review despite your disappointing experience.
We are deeply sorry to read about your experience and the loss of your family jewels. We understand the importance and value of these items and we are terribly disappointed that this ever happened to you and your family.
Our team always takes cases of theft very seriously and we aim to ensure we support and guide clients through this difficult and painful process. We have seen the email communication with our team and we are sorry for the miscommunication and misunderstanding regarding how our claims procedure works. Our team holds guidance and support at the core of all claims processes and we apologise once again that we failed to deliver in this regard.
As per the email communication with our team,  the accused SweepStar was investigated and she was permanently deactivated from our platform. Furthermore, we have various ******** checks and vetting to limit and avoid such cases and at the time of being placed in our services SweepStars are fully cleared. We encourage clients to exercise caution with regards to protecting their personal safety and property, just as you would when interacting with people whom you don't know. This information is provided to clients on our website and in our terms and conditions.
We hope this clarified matters and we sincerely apologise once again for this experience and for the miscommunication regarding this.
