SweepSouth pays Insurance claim promptly!
I recently used the services of SweepSouth and when booking noticed that they had an option to insure against breakages for R20 and took up this option.
The SweepStar cleaned to my satisfaction but after she left I closed my kitchen blinds and noticed that a piece of slat had been broken off (and I found the broken piece).
I contacted SweepSouth who put me in touch with their insurance support team. This team requested that I get a quote to repair the blind and forward it to them. They also asked for a brief description of what happened.
I contacted Clean-a-Blind and they advised that parts for this particular blind were no longer available in SA. I noticed that there were some spare slats at the bottom of the blind and asked if one could be used to replace the broken slat and they advised this was possible. This reasonable request was put to SweepSouth and they agreed to the repair.
All throughout the process SweepSouth staff were professional, never tried to dispute the claim and went out of their way to assist.
In turn I did not blame the SweepStar as accidents can and do happen and all I needed was for the blind to be repaired. A reasonable request was met with a reasonable response.
