21 Feb 2023, 07:30 Hello Renate.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We can confirm that when you initially reached out to us on 21 September 2022 regarding the serious matter that took place at your booking on the 16 September 2022, we were truly disappointed and naturally concerned that you had to go through such an awful experience. Upon receiving your feedback, we immediately had a look at your profile and noticed that you have not taken insurance against your booking but proceeded to assist you by providing you with the necessary next steps as well as encouraging you to open a case against SweepStar. As mentioned, with an open case and a case number to match, we would be able to facilitate our internal investigation and proceed with the necessary steps. We confirm that in October you reached us again, and we have advised that the way forward is to open a case against SweepStar. To date, we have not received a case number.
We understand the nature of allowing someone unknown into your home and as such, we follow a rigorous vetting process that includes ******** checks & reference checks from previous employers of the individual. Additionally, we do offer clients the ability to insure their bookings through a third-party insurance company. As you did not select insurance on your booking we would still like to assist you by encouraging you to go through the route of addressing this with your insurance company directly.
Again, we are terribly sorry that you've had this incredibly disappointing experience and we do encourage you to follow the guidelines our teams have provided.
