Out of the Stone Age into the Internet Age

I have been using SweepSouth since early 2020 and have been delighted with the service once I found the right SweepStar for me. That took a couple of tries, but once I met my current SweepStar, we struck up a really productive working relationship. I really like that they take care of all the paperwork and statutory filings for domestic workers, helping them to build up a record of employment, get UIF benefits and the like. I also appreciate that the SweepStars come with references and ratings, enabling prospective customers to assess whether the person could be a good fit. The app allowed me to make payments to my SweepStar during lockdown, an option I really appreciated. The app is easy to use, and in fact the whole process of working with SweepSouth is easy. It's long overdue that domestic workers should be recognised as being part of the formal economy, and SweepSouth is doing their bit to make that happen and help this vital group of workers become less vulnerable.
