Not the person i booked and she ****** us!

The lady who came to clean stole my wedding ring. When I reported this to Sweep South in realised the lady who came was not actually the lady in the picture on the profile. I reported this to Sweep South and they then assigned a private investigator to my case. Three days after my Sweep South booking my apartment got burgeld. The ******* knew exactly where all the valuables were in my flat. After I mentioned this to investigator he agreed that it is highly likely that the imposter orchestrated the burglary. She was on her phone constantly during her clean.

Sweep South did not even aknowledge any wrong doing here, nor did they apologise. The allowed an imposter ******** to enter my home, ***** from mr and potentially organise a burglary.

Avoid this company and do not allow their '****' contractors into your home!

Good afternoon Christo,

Thank you for taking the time to share your review Christo.

We confirm that our team was in contact with you initially via email and naturally we apologised several times throughout our communications with regard to this very serious matter. We are disappointed by your review and outline of communication from our team as we absolutely apologised and empathised on this incredibly disappointing experience. We confirm that we did not receive any further emails from you following our email sent on 17 January. From this point, we confirm that the case was handed over to an independent private investigator. Once he has completed his investigation, he will then provide us with the report and outcome, as explained - this process can take up to 4 weeks (depending on ease of contact with both parties).

It should be noted that you had not alerted SweepSouth directly of the burglary that took place at the property and we are incredibly concerned to read this. However, we would not be able to comment on the involvement of the SweepStar in this regard as there is no evidence to prove this at this stage. We would strongly encourage you to work with SAPS in allowing them to investigate this burglary, naturally, we are willing and available to assist in their investigations should this be required.

As you did not select insurance on your booking we would encourage you to address this with your insurance company directly.

We understand the nature of allowing someone unknown into your home and as such, we follow a rigorous vetting process that includes ******** checks & reference checks from previous employers of the individual. Additionally, we do offer clients the ability to insure their bookings through a third-party insurance company.
SweepSouth utilises the AFISwitch ******** Illicit Activity Check, the only ******** verification check available to the South African corporate market since the discontinuation of the SAPS Name Clearance ******** Check in mid 2011. The AFISwitch ******** Illicit Activity Check requires a candidate's fingerprints in order to conduct the verification against the Automated Fingerprint Identification System. The fingerprints can be obtained by capturing the ten fingerprints of a potential candidate electronically using a SAGEM MSO300 scanner. The fingerprint package is then submitted online for verification to AFISwitch; the interface between the AFIS database and the public.

While this particular case (the incident that took place at the booking) has been handed to the independent private investigator, we’re not in a position to comment further on the outcome. Our team will be in touch once the outcome has been shared.

Regards,
