We are extremely concerned to read this and so very sorry for your experience.
We understand the nature of allowing someone unknown into your home and as such we follow a rigorous vetting process which includes ******** checks & reference checks from previous employers of the individual. Additionally, we do offer clients the ability to insure their bookings through a third-party insurance company.
SweepSouth utilises the AFISwitch ******** Illicit Activity Check, the only ******** verification check available to the South African corporate market since the discontinuation of the SAPS Name Clearance ******** Check in mid 2011. The AFISwitch ******** Illicit Activity Check requires a candidate's fingerprints in order to conduct the verification against the Automated Fingerprint Identification System. The fingerprints can be obtained by capturing the ten fingerprints of a potential candidate electronically using a SAGEM MSO300 scanner. The fingerprint package is then submitted online for verification to AFISwitch; the interface between the AFIS database and the public.
That said, this has been escalated immediately and raised as a priority. Our team will now conduct our internal investigation and be in touch with you directly to keep you updated on the outcome.
