Swarovski Manager at Canal Walk needs customer service s****s!
The two stars are for Lauren.
The canal walk branch manager needs to learn customer service. She and one of her employees have not added sparkle to my life instead they are rude and speak to you as if you cannot afford to look let alone buy from the store.I was disgusted especially after spending alot of money at the canal walk store- Rita and Nakita you should learn from Lauren she has AMAZING customer service. Lauren assisted me without being sarcastic and with a smile on her face.
It all started on my birthday. I went in to buy me a few items as a birthday spoils Sunday the 30th June 2019. I was assisted by a friendly lady a Lauren and her entire team that worked the morning. I bought to the value of about R4000.00. Leading up to my birthday I looked around to see what could I buy from the store and was previously assisted by a not so friendly girl( who I know now her name is Nakita) then went back to finalise my items and that is when I met Lauren. While Lauren was looking for a bigger size ring i proceeded to browse the store and noticed a ring my mom gave me that morning for my birthday.i then asked Lauren if I could come and exchange it the next day as the ring is too small and only fits my pinkie. I advised her I don't have the slip only the warranty and she says it is fine she will keep it aside until Monday. I pay for my goods and all excited I come back that evening. I bring the ring and a few other items I have questions on. I get there after 19:00 PM ( I think) and I see oh no it is the not so friendly girl(Nakita) that did not assist me the very first time when selecting my birthday goods. Anyway I approach her in a friendly manner and begin to discuss my problems. She then looks at the warranty of the ring and says oh no you going to have to go back to where you bought it and discuss it with them So my mom bought the ring from the Swarovski kiosk in January 2019 situated in the Edgar's canal walk store -the Swarovski kiosk is no longer in Edgar's how do we go back and ask them????? She then turns to her manager Rita and says "another client of Lauren she is keeping a sale item aside and she told the client she can exchange the ring look at the warranty." -brief story: my mom bought the ring in January however she only gave me the ring the morning of the 30th June 2019 for my birthday weekend spoils. The manager looks at me and in a very sarcastic tone she says well who exchanges things after 6months. And I explain the story and she goes I am sorry I can't help you. I am still calm at this point and I say ok. I do not have my wallet here because I was under the impression I was exchanging not buying could you keep the ring until tomorrow I will come after work and buy my correct size and just sell the small one or give it as a gift. So Nakita adds her 2 cents and says no we not allowed if I get a buyer now I will sell it. And I turn and say no I am buying it you will keep it. My husband sees I am furious at this point and proceeds to guide me to the door the manager then gets all sarcastic and says no we will not keep it aside. And in a very sarcastic tone the manager tells me you have a nice day. And as I turn around to explode I see her with this smirk and Nakita mumbles something. My husband pulls me out because he knows it is about to get ugly. This is probably the worst service I have received not even walking into Browns or Shimansky do I get treated in such an ugly way.
A few days later I get a call from Lauren and she apologies for saying she could assit me. The thing is I am not upset with Lauren she tried to help. Not her manager though she was horrible. I did not have the warranty with me the morning so none of us knew the dates until I brought it the evening. I got it as a gift it is crazy that it was lying in a box unused and you could not assist me.The manager should be calling to apologize for her lack of customer service. I also bought a pair of hoops from Swarovski kiosk The Waterfront however they gave me no warranty so while I tried to exchange the ring I spoke to Nakita producing my slip and asking her to write a warranty for me and again Nakita being the unfriendly soul she is behind d yhe counter said she can't help I just go back to Edgars- AGAIN SWAROVSKI KIOSK'S ARE NO LONGER PART OF EDGARS HOW DO I GO BACK??? Besides it is part of your company or would cost you nothing to go find out and get back to me. Also my mom said the sales lady in aedgars advised her when she bought my ring any problems you can go to the stand alone store downstairs here in Canal Walk. Shocking to find out they don't want to assist.
