Very negative personal experience with Swan Studios renovation company and its management

If there were a possibility of assigning zero stars, I would have done it. The Swan Studios does not deserve even one star.

I am a neighbor and a mother of a four-year-old daughter. During the renovation of the adjacent apartment, I was explicitly assured in plain English by Ms. Marike that the corridor and common areas of the building would remain clean and safe. That promise was not honored.

Construction dust repeatedly spread throughout the corridor and other shared areas. Proper dust-minimizing and containment measures did not appear to be in place. The amount of dust was so significant that it entered our living space, and my four-year-old daughter was breathing it in inside our own home. As a mother, this was deeply distressing. No parent should have to worry about their child’s exposure to construction dust because adequate precautions were not taken.

Equally concerning, when asked to clearly identify herself and her affiliation with The Swan Studios, Ms. Marike refused. For someone acting in a managerial role, refusing to provide clear identification is unacceptable and undermines trust and accountability.

Renovations in a residential building must be handled responsibly, with full respect for neighbors’ health, safety, and shared property. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property or its management.
