I own a Suzuki vehicle currently under warranty. This is the second time the vehicle has been returned for the same no-start issue after a previous warranty battery replacement. While I appreciate that the dealership is investigating the fault, my concern is the lack of communication. I was promised updates that never came, I have repeatedly had to chase the service department myself, the phones have gone unanswered and I have been left without transport for several days with no courtesy vehicle available. Not sure if the lady “helping” me is Dineo/ Leleti but the customer service is absolute nonsense!!!!

From onset of purhcase to after-sales service, I have had the worst experience with Suzuki Menlyn. The branch lacks all understanding of urgency, customer care and communication skills. I purchased my brand new Swift 6 months ago and I have had non-stop issues. I am highly dissapointed, my whole experience has been ruined.

Purchasing a vehicle from Suzuki Menlyn has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve had as a car buyer. As someone who has bought several vehicles recently, I expected a basic level of professionalism and competence. Unfortunately, almost every step of the process was problematic. The issues started with the quotation. The initial quote showed monthly instalments of approximately R4,000. A follow-up email suddenly increased this to R6,500 — a massive jump justified by an “extended maintenance plan” that I never requested or agreed to. When I questioned this, I was met with patronising responses, including offers to “explain VAT” as if I didn’t understand basic car financing. I specifically requested personalised number plates, which were completely ignored. More than two and a half weeks later, they still hadn’t been done. Communication was consistently poor — emails were confusing and often contradictory. Phone calls went unanswered for long periods, and when someone did answer, the attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. Every request to speak to a manager was met with the standard response: “He’s in a meeting.” Promises were made and repeatedly broken, leaving me extremely frustrated and feeling completely disregarded as a customer. This car was supposed to be a surprise 18th birthday gift for my child. We initiated the process almost three weeks ago on 29 May, but on the day of collection (15 June), there were still multiple issues outstanding. As a result, the surprise has been completely ruined. If you are considering buying a car from Suzuki Menlyn, I strongly advise you to proceed with extreme caution. Be prepared for poor communication, broken promises, and a very stressful process. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience.

I've been calling this branch requesting a quote. The first called twice and the call get disconnected each time that they transfer to the parts department. On the 3rd call I informed the switchboard operator that my call gets disconnected every time she transfers. She then transferred me to another lady that took details of my vehicle's VIN number and told me that she would call me within an hour to provide feedback on the quote. I'm yet to receive the call - this was on the 16th April. So today I decide to call again to request a quote seeing that I'm the one that is in need of help, the - the same thing happens once again. On my second attempt I ask the operator if there's a problem with their lines is this seems a a repetitive occurrence and she was not aware of this. She transfers my call again and once more the call disconnects. I've attempted to reach you 11 times today with no joy!!! Can you call me and assist me as I can't seem to reach you if it's not too much to ask?

Suzuki Menlyn is the worst place I’ve ever had my car serviced. I made a booking and specifically asked them to check the air conditioning as it was no longer cooling. When I dropped the car off at 07:30, I again reminded them to check the aircon. By 14:30 I had not heard anything, so I contacted them myself. The lady I spoke to was very annoyed with me and said they hadn’t even started the service yet. At 16:05 I received a call saying the car would be ready by 16:30. When I asked about the aircon, the same very rude lady told me it needs to be re-gassed. I then asked if they would be doing that, and she said no — they didn’t have time.

I have been to Suzuki Menlyn four times asking them to inspect my brakes because of a strange clunking sound. I bought my car in September 2024, and ever since then it has been nothing but trouble. Despite raising the issue repeatedly, no one is willing to help. Instead, they keep making me jump through hoops for what seems to be an obviously defective-and very important-part. I'm clearly not the only one experiencing this issue; I've seen other customers mentioning the same brake noise in their online review. Yet the dealership continues to act as though the problem doesn't exist. Just because Suzuki is selling many cars doesn't give them the right to treat customers poorly. The after sales service is practically nonexistent, and that's unacceptable for a new vehicle under warranty. I have now taken to social media for help putting reviews on Google on all the Suzuki sights I can find hoping someone will just help me. I've contacted Suzuki Menlyn, the ceo of Suzuki, any and every email I can find for Suzuki and Suzuki customer service but NO ONE will help me My advice DO NOT purchase a Suzuki. I would not anyone else to go through the same frustration. Suzuki does not even deserve 1 star

My experience with Suzuki Menlyn has been extremely frustrating. I called four times, was transferred about twelve times, and several calls were dropped. No employee seemed able to connect me to the correct department to obtain a formal quote. This is the second consecutive poor experience I’ve had with this branch. On a previous occasion, I was quoted roughly R22,000 to repair a driver’s side door lock mechanism—an issue that cost only about R7,000 at Penta Suzuki Centurion Select. It is unacceptable that two branches of the same group provide such vastly different quotes. Overall, both their client service and pricing practices are highly disappointing.

I had the privilege of receiving such outstanding service from Suzuki Menlyn (The Penta group) when I took my car in for a service. There weren't any hassles, they explained to me all the charges on my account, which is still under the service plan, so no payment was due from my end. They had organized a drop-off and pick up for me and everything ran smoothly
