Debit order debacle

i have been trying to reinstate my debit order for three months now and each time i contact them, they tell me that i must first cancel the one already in place. But ow do i do that since i do not know their system. They are not helping. They want to keep paying a once off payment each month and that costs me an extra 50 rand. Please assist...
