Why Sure Drive Pinetown is a good example of bad service

I bought a car, specifically because I travel a lot. Seemed to have good kilometres and a full service history (But no services book as advertised). On the 3rd week, it started smoking badly, I contacted Sure drive and they sent me to there service centre.

One month later I am still waiting. I have been getting excuses like they ordered the wrong bolts and the engineer is nearly finished fixing the engine. My biggest frustration is the feedback, even the owner of the business and there Absa South Africa representative named Kyle ( I think) expect me to understand there problems and bare with them when I wanted to cancel the purchase. As it is, I personally feel they should have seen the issue before selling the car.

There courtesy car is uncomfortable especially on long drives, and seems to be a salvage vehicle as it leaks when it rains and the air bag warning light is on plus my wife doesn't drive manual cars hence we have never owned a manual car so I cant even leave it behind when I travel. This is the second time I will be traveling to my head office (a 6 hour drive) without my car, I am paying for a car, a tracker and insurance on a car I don't even have. I don't understand why they don't understand that a car is an investment, if I cant enjoy it then why have it?

The one thing I have learned is, buy direct from the manufacturer. It might be more expensive but your sanity and peace of mind is more important.
