A Less than truthful deal..

End 2017 I set out to look for a Jeep Wrangler, preferably a Rubicon. I finally found one in Durban but this meant I needed to fly down to have a look at it first.

I contacted the salesman on the 2nd of Jan 2018 initially where I requested him to confirm that they are indeed advertising a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and not a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara where he rep**** and reassured me that it indeed is a Rubicon and not a Sahara.

I Booked a flight from JHB to DBN the following day and upon my arrival at Sure Drive Durban Branch, on 3 Jan 2018, I inspected the vehicle to see if it is worth my while, soon I discovered it was NOT a Rubicon, but indeed a Wrangler I decided to anyway go ahead and finance the vehicle.

There was no spare key, service book and owners manual for the vehicle but they did commit to courier it to me on the 10th of January 2018.

From here there was a total lack of feedback and I am still stuck with no spare key, service book and owners manual. After numerous attempts to send messages to the salesman, and calling the branch just be be informed that the Manager "will get back to me", to no avail.

Having me fly down for a Rubicon which turned out to be a Sahara is bad enough, they don't even bother to keep their word on the spare key and service book which they promised to me.

I am happy with the vehicle and the arrangement to refund me after I paid for registration and Licence plates went smoothly.
