***** - Payment made in full (R14 799.00) – No delivery and No Feedback

My wife is an enthusiastic upcoming photographer – with her hard earned money she bought a camera for her own photography business. Unfortunately we had a burglary in our home where her Camera was ******. As she enjoyed the photography so much and made a honest income for herself, we decided to buy a new camera again and Superstore.World had the perfect deal to suit my wife. The Sequence of events: 1. On Thursday 8 June, 2017 at 9:33 AM - I enquired How to place an online order with Superstore.World. 2. On Friday 9 June, 2017 at 01:40 PM - Superstore.World replayed – “Please pay the amount in the quote using your email address as reference. PLEASE USE THE FNB DETAILS ONLY” Respond to this email with all the above and proof of payment” 3. On Monday 12 June, 2017at 04:47 AM – rep**** to Superstore.World and provided all the information as per their request. I also requested a quote for the camera bundle. 4. On Thursday 22 June, 2017 at 3:57 PM - I requested feedback as I have not received any feedback regarding my request that was sent on 12 June, 2017at 04:47 AM 5. On Monday, 3 July, 2017 at 4:43 PM - a payment was made to Superstore.World, 6. 04 July 2017 09:37 AM - Superstore.World confirmed payment and replayed “Thank you for your email. Your item is scheduled to be dispatched before the end of the week. Regular updates will be provided once dispatched” 7. On numerous occasions I have communicated with Superstore.World and enquired about the delivery of the Camera and every time a new and different excuse. a. On Monday 10 July, 2017 at 8:52 AM - Can you please supply me with any feedback i. On 10 July 2017 03:29 PM – reply from Superstore.World – “The item is currently in transit and will be sent to you tomorrow - you will receive tracking info tomorrow” b. On Wednesday 12 July, 2017 at 12:41 PM - Unfortunately I did not receive anything yet. Please confirm on your side and please forward the tracking accordingly i. On 13 July 2017 at 10:50 AM - reply from Superstore.World – “Please accept our sincerest apologies for the delay. Our supplier disappointed us and promised that we will receive the item today. We expect the item to be dispatched and on its way to you tomorrow for the latest. If we cannot get the item to you by Monday - we will be happy to process a refund” c. On Monday 17 July, 2017 at 7:40 AM - Did you receive information from your supplier, any new feedback and on the way forward? i. On 18 July, 2017 at 10:11AM - reply from Superstore.World – “Our supplier is expecting a new shipment - we will receive stock from this shipment. We are extremely sorry about the delay. This does not usually happen”. d. On Thursday 20 July, 2017 at 10:51 AM - Understandable, can you please indicate a date on which you will receive stock...? i. On 21 July 2017 at 09:59 AM - reply from Superstore.World – “We expect the stock early next week”. e. On Wednesday 26 July, 2017 at 7:47 AM - Almost a month since the payment was made. Can you please provide feedback i. On 26 July, 2017 at 04:47 PM - reply from Superstore.World – “We are currently pushing to get the item as soon as possible. The estimate that we should have the item by 31 July 2017. Please accept our apologies for the poor service” f. On Thursday 3 August 2017, at 12:34 PM - Can you please give me Urgent Feedback. As per your email below: • Did you receive the item...? • When will you deliver...? • When will you reimburse me if you did not receive it...? i. On Friday 4 August 2017 11:59 AM - reply from Superstore.World – “Please provide your contact number to discuss” g. On Monday 4 August 2017, at 12:18 PM - I forwarded my contact details – as expected, no call came from Superstore.world to explain or to discuss as mentioned h. On Monday 14 August 2017 at 11:16 AM – It has been 6 weeks since (since 27June) you received payment and to date I did not receive my order. i. On Tuesday 15August, 2017 at 10:07 AM - I forwarded the entire email communication to my banker and requested a retransfer of the money. Unfortunately, the bank can no longer reverse the transaction as it is longer that 30days. I have lost my wife’s camera and money and now she is unable to continue with her business.

i. 16 August 2017 01:27 PM - reply from Superstore.World - Please accept my sincere apology on behalf of our company. I am very sorry to learn that your experience with Superstore.World was less than adequate.

At present, we are unable to complete your order or process your refund as a result of a malicious attempt against our business which include several false allegations of *****. As a result, our accounts have been frozen and we’ve taken a decision to suspend the customer sales division of our business until the matter is resolved. Our legal team is working with the authorities to apprehend all suspects - no further information can be shared at this point as this may jeopardise the investigation.

We understand your frustration and appreciate your partience.

We invite you to send any concerns to ********** and we will try to provide you with further information bearing in mind that the matter is sub judice.

Your concerns will be referred to Alex May Incorporated, our legal representatives, before providing a response and therefore we ask that you allow us 5 business days to respond.

Please be assured that we are trying to resolve the situation as fast as possible. We are in the process of putting new procedures in place to prevent incidents like this from happening again.

8. Statement made by Superstore.World a. “..our accounts have been frozen and we’ve taken a decision to suspend the customer sales division of our business until the matter is resolved” i. On Monday 28 August, 2017 at 01:55 PM - I would highly appreciate urgent feedback on the way forward, either delivery or refund of my purchase. ii. To date, No Response from Superstore.World. I would highly suggest that Superstore.World is investigated for ***** and on the following: • Are all their accounts actually suspended..? • Have they actually suspended their sales division..? and to be suspended indefinitely from online shopping, as numerous complains has been lodged against Superstore.World (on helloPeter) and still they are operational and continuing to negatively affect/***** hard working South African citizens money. Additional to my complaint, I will now open an official *****/Theft case at SAPS to further investigate Superstore.World.
