Supersonic sets a new standard for the worst Internet Provider

I emailed Supersonic on 18 September 2019 stating that I want to close down my account and cancel membership. I received a phone call 30min later from supersonic trying to convince me to stay and offered 15% discount. I was informed that it is compulsory to give reasons why you want to cancel, ridicules… I gave him my reasons for cancelation over the phone, stating reason 1: I pay my account every month and then my internet gets switched off, this happens at least 3 times per month even though I send through proof of payments at least 3 times per month. Then suddenly I was very rudely informed that there will be a claw back fee that I need to pay for the installation that was a year ago. The sales agents who offered a NO OBLIGATIONS one-month free trial, also told me that NO CANCELLATION COSTS would apply, however when I decided to cancel this, I was told there’s a clawback cancellation fee. I informed the agent that they are offering false advertising and his response was: “well you should have read the fine print” ……. Supersonic sells me one thing and delivers something completely different, it’s as if their sales department and billing are two different entities that do not communicate at all. He emailed me offering a discount again trying to convince me to keep my account and then he stated: your debit order for August 2019 came back as unpaid and amount due is R 427.31… I have two questions: 1. How could the debit order came back unpaid, when I don’t even have a debit order in place with Supersonic? (FYI my monthly installment is R699.00 for the past year) 2. I pay R699 every month and now it’s actually R427.31 outstanding on the August invoice, what happened to the other R271.69? Please explain how you do your mathematics? And this after I send the proof of payment three times? This is not how I do business with someone and I think it’s highly unprofessional. Since my mail on 18 September 2019, I phoned twice a week, and send 5 mails after the 18th as well as contacted supersonic on WhatsApp…. NO RESPONSE in a month. Supersonic website indicates that you offer a 24-hour support service. 24 hours is NOT from (7am to 10pm) weekdays and (8am to 5pm) on weekends, as Indicated by the WhatsApp support team. This lack of response signals to me that the Supersonic not only doesn't care about my opinion but, also doesn't value my contribution to your business. I thought that I could not be surprised by bad customer service in South Africa until I ordered a package from Supersonic. Your incompetence sets a new standard for the worst Internet Provider in the South African Business Industry.
