Supersonic & Openserve Service\Comminication Blackhole
Moved house on 28th March, after much effort cancelled my previous line and requested new line from on new premises, since they don't have a way to just move the line. After being informed the Fibre installation takes 7 to 14 working days to install after I told them premises already has an openserve fibre line, they sent wrong physical address to Openserve, then address had to be fixed with Openserve another 4 days. Address fixed, lady from Openserve came and fixed the fibre fault and tested it, after 2 1/2 weeks of waiting I was very excited that we neared a solution. But low and behold the Openserve or Supersonic messed something up and the modem didn't want to connect to the router then it was long weekend. Today is 20 April, still not working. when you speak to Supersonic they blame Openserve and they can only communicate with Openserve on Email(SHOCKING) Openserv doesn't respond to them. There is a bigger problem with supersonic, is that they allow Openserv to give them such bad communication. Supersonic in turn doesn't communicate back to their customers I phoned them at least 15 times in 2 the 3 1/2 weeks. Stay away from Supersonic and Openserve. Unfortunately in SA we don't have that many options. So I though I would save R200 per month. But seems you get what you pay for. So rather pay more and get good service. The so called project manager didn't want to have a robust discussion about this issue and just wanted to end the call. They also stopped giving me references from the 12th April.
