Supersonic misleading month to month service

The service has been terrible. I signed up in September last year and was told the service was month-to-month with no contract, so I could cancel anytime. When I relocated, I requested them to move the WiFi to my new address. After assessing, they informed me that their WiFi doesn’t cover the new location, so I had no choice but to cancel. They required a 30-day notice, which I understood. However, they later sent me an invoice for R2,500 without any explanation. When I called, I spoke with Kgaugelo, who was very rude. He admitted it was month-to-month but mentioned a clause that if canceled before 24 months, a cancellation fee applies. He said he didn’t know the person who onboarded me and couldn’t retrieve the call recording for clarification.
