Supersonic LTE
I was an iBurst orphan after they decommissioned their legacy network. In iBursts wisdom they had no wireless/LTE service to offer me for 6 months + while they commissioned their new network (Rain I think?). This left me with few options as the ADSL infrastructure in my area was terrible & is now being decommissioned. Additionally there was no fiber infrastructure & 3 years later there still isn't with no light at then end of the tunnel. So LTE was my only hope to get up & running quickly. I've used MTN LTE on an outdoor LTE router for the last 2 years until my 80Gb contact expired. I've been paying R500 for 10Gb data only packages until now. This is not sustainable with my wife & I working from home.
Enter Supersonic LTE who had an attractive offering of 200gb for R599. I signed up for their LTE sim only package as I had an outdoor LTE router which is superior to the 4 indoor consumer grade models they offer. The sim card arrived & I installed it in my MikroTik SXT LTE router & set the APN. It worked & I was connected for a couple of hours after which I left home for the weekend. Upon my return I discovered that my router was not connecting to their network. I called in & was informed that my device was being actively blocked by them. Supersonic said I needed to spend another R2000 & buy one of their 4 approved routers. I was not willing to effectively double my spend on LTE hardware especially when I had a superior product (outdoor directional vs indoor consumer). I cancelled my service via phone & sent a followup email. I called in 20 days later to confirm that I was not going to get charged another R600 for a service they won't let me use (effectively paying R1200 for 3 hours of use). I discovered that the cancellation was not processed after having spent 40min on hold trying to get through to "accounts". Needless to say I'm angry & I've gone with a traditional WISP as fiber, ADSL & LTE have failed me.

Best regards,
No one has contacted me with regards to this post specifically. Just to confirm I cancelled in writing on the 8th of October. I literally was able to use your service for maybe a couple of hours & was blocked. I don't see how your company gets to block me from accessing your network & then charge me R1200 for 2 months of service.
