Supersonic Firewall - PAIN IN THE A..

I have recently installed fibre - all was well until i connected my tv to it.. it seems there are fire wall issues which does not allow for apps to be downloaded onto the tv. Can the fire wall be relaxed or removed or do i need to change service provider?
