Supersonic cannot call themselves a service provider
When the power comes back on after loadshedding or any other power failure at my home the LoS (loss of signal) light on my fibre box flashes red..... no internet connection, every time!! I then phone Supersonic, my internet 'Service Provider'... not sure if that is the correct term to use here. But, I call their helpdesk and wait untill one of their 'superheros' assists me. Always the same answer. 'Sir we will log a call with OpenServe'. Tonight I found out exactly what that means. Supersonic sends a mail to OpenServe.... the same mail I can send to the address that's available on their website, that's it. Please also note you cannot call OpenServe, their website instructs you to speak to your internet service provider. I asked if a Supersonic IT engineer calls soneone at OpenServe to resolve the problem.... no they don't, just an email. So I ask the 'Superhero' what are we now supposed to do... the answer... 'You have to wait sir'. My neighbour, also on OpenServe fibre network, but with a different inteenet service provider, no problem they have full internet service on the same fibre network mine flashing red... LoS. I cannot express the levels of frustration to get the same answer every time... but the problem is never fixed. It is clear that we have to except third world, not even that high, standards of internet services from companies like Supersonic.... poor, poor, poor, poor service levels. Not worth the money you have to pay them every month!!!!! Spare yourself the frustration, use soneone else!
Thank you for reaching out to Supersonic, I apologise for the frustration caused, please note that i am looking into your query and will revert back to you as soon as possible.
