Supersonic : Accounts Department Useless

I have been paying my 5G account via EFT ever since I signed up from March 2023 and I have done so every month. At the beginning of June 2023 Supersonic ran a debit order off against my bank account AFTER I had made payment via EFT.

I reported the matter on 2 June 2023, attaching proof of the EFT payment and requesting a refund as the debit order should not have gone off my account.

Since then I have had to contact my bank to obtain further internal proof that the EFT payment was indeed in their bank account because their Accounts department could not trace the payment despite a payment reference.

Today is day 20 since I first logged a call and requested a refund. I have logged numerous calls since then most of which was closed indicating that the matter was resolved.......actually NOT

I have been informed that their Accounts department has a 7 to 21 days waiting period on refunds.

So lesson learnt. If you want to hang on to your cash and not have to wait 21 days for it to be paid back don't make the mistake I did thinking you will deal with a dynamic and effective Accounts department.

Think I finally found a department within a non-governmental institution that is worse than any government department could be.
