Please help me get my internet line released

Every now and then they raise their tarrif with more than 50%. As a pensioner I would not afford their new charge. I decided to leave them for a better charging service provider but they are refusing to release my line. Since April I am without internet. This is an inconvenience to my writing and household. Please assist
