MTN Fixed LTE - Profile invalid...AGAIN?!

I’m on MTN Supersonic Fixed LTE and have been locked out (Profile invalid) twice in 10 days.

Router is in the same physical spot in the house, no big downloads, and did a full router reset. Nada!

Very frustrating “talking” to their support via their WhatsApp support line (Wait hours for a response).

Seems like a common problem as discussed here: https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads/mtn-fixed-lte-are-you-blacklisted-or-unable-to-send-recieve-traffic.***/page-2

Hi Sandra

It seems like you guys have a major problem with MTN? It appears that when the router is first set up, it gets allocated to a particular tower, based on the users GPS coordinates. If this tower goes down, or has a low signal, the router finds, and connects to, a different tower. In the process the MTN system sees that the router is not allowed on that tower, due to the FIXED LTE structure, and then locks out the user.
I think this is either a fault of MTN (They should see the users router in a particular geographical zone and accept it) or yours (the relevant towers should all be loaded with the users details based on their GPS coordinates and proximity to multiple towers).

I honestly think your technical guys need to sort this out with MTN!!!
