*********** service by Supersonic.

To say supersonic is an *********** is an insult to the word ***********. First I talk to a call Centre Agent who promises to get sales to call me. Next thing I learn from Vumatel that Supersonic has adopted my line. And then I call supersonic again telling the agent that my line is now with you guys but I have not received the call from your sales team. She can’t find anything on the system. I shop around find a deal I like from a straight talking agent elsewhere, who tell me it will take a week to connect me. But I like the frankness. I go back to Vumatel. Vumatel I found an ISP they just need an object or VT number. Vumatel checks and comes back and tells me Supersonic has taken over the line. I call Supersonic again. A very patient agent this time searches finds my account and promises to have me connected within a week. Sends a router in three days. Now I have been waiting for 76 hours to have the router activated. Today, Saturday the 11th of July, I have made calls totaling 134 minutes to them all with the promise that technical support is working on having me connected. This went on the whole day. I mean from 8am to 6pm. Obviously at this time I am furious. My patience is running thing. My boss has been waiting three days for my report. I call to supersonic to “cancel”. I use the word “cancel” reservedly because let’s be honest they never activated me so what are they canceling? I get told the cancellation department will call me in one to two days. I am very curious to hear what they will charge me for? Charge for the router I have never used. A router I will be very happy to go drop if they can tell me who will accept the returns. By the way my calls on Friday totalled 53 minutes and each time I was getting a different response from call Centre agent.

Again, I didn’t know service this horrible service still existed, particularly in an industry with so many players.

Dear Sandra, thank you for response. Indeed this is true. The router has been activated. The line already existed and hence installed. However the speeds are no where near what the old ISP provided. There are two reasons why I am reluctant to call your Call Centre. 1. knowing that I will be sent from pillar to post. 2. I have almost exhausted my minutes for the month because of repeated calls to the call Centre. A call Centre is supposed to provide solutions, or at least speak in a singular voice and not be a source of frustrations. And hearing different solutions from each person I speak to.
At this point I just wish to match the old ISP. I considered the old ISP not be good and hence didn’t renew with them. At the moment we are not starting on a good foot.

Hi Sandra,

Nobody from your has contacted me as at 19:31 on the the 17th of July, the line is still very poor and I cannot attend virtual meetings that I would readily attend otherwise. The service is barely at 1% of what I am supposed to be procured services. While I do have intentions of upgrading to the next level but at the moment I am not even getting basic that should be coming down the line. And I will be very reluctantly blame maintainers of the line because I know I would routinely get upwards of 80% with the ISP I decided not renew with.

But I still have contact details of the installer if you would I have them check first before engaging you further.

Kind regards,
Vela
