If I could give a negative rating, I would - Worst ISP in South Africa
If I could give a negative rating, I would. Supersonic is so spectacularly bad that giving them **zero stars feels too generous**. They deserve a rating so negative it starts affecting the laws of mathematics.
This is, without question, the **worst ISP in South Africa**.
Their customer service is less of a support department and more of a live performance of *Monty Python* directed by *Saturday Night Live*. Every interaction leaves you wondering whether hidden cameras are about to appear and someone will yell, "Gotcha!" Sadly, the agents insist this is real life.
I was on a **month-to-month, no-contract** package. This concept proved to be more complex than quantum mechanics. Every conversation required explaining that "no contract" means... there is no contract. It was as though I had introduced an entirely new branch of theoretical physics.
The internet itself also appears to be something of a mystery to them. They sell it, certainly, but whether they understand what it is remains open to scientific debate.
If your connection stops working, prepare for an adventure through endless scripts, contradictory answers, and enough transferred calls to qualify as an international relay race.
Choosing Supersonic as your ISP is a bit like hiring a lifeguard who has never seen water.
Avoid. There are better ways to spend your money—such as setting it on fire. At least the fire provides warmth.
