Activation fee required for an upgrade/migration

I have a uncapped lte package with you already. i'm paying 999 per month. i now see that you are offering 5g in my area. great, so i call in to upgrade. yet i must a an activation fee of 399? How is there a activation fee on an upgrade/migration?

This is completely uncalled for, there was no activation fee with the LTE uncapped package.

It is unfortunate that with regards to activation fee it's R 399 for 5G. Meaning you start afresh.
