Absolute administrative *****: Confirmed my downgrade in writing, kept billing R899, and handed me over!

Supersonic's level of incompetence, dishonesty, and administrative chaos is completely staggering.

On 1 March, I formally requested a downgrade of my Uncapped Fixed-LTE Premium service (R899 p/m) to their 120GB Fixed-LTE service at R279 per month. I explicitly explained that I would not be at the property for the next few months. Rather than cancelling the line outright, I purposely chose to downgrade and keep a minimal package running while away so that the service would remain active for when I returned.

On 11 March, I received official written confirmation directly from *** stating in black and white: "We have completed your request to downgrade...".

Despite having their explicit confirmation in hand, Supersonic completely failed to process it on their backend systems. They *******ly kept billing me at the old R899 rate for a service I wasn't even using and hadn't agreed to pay for. When I refused to pay for their systemic gross negligence, instead of correcting their own glaring mistake, they had the absolute audacity to sic debt collectors—Shapiro Shaik Defries & Associates—on me for R1,690!

You confirm a downgrade in writing, fail to do your jobs, ignore your clients while they are away, and then try to bully them into paying for your own system errors?

I have attempted to follow up on numerous occasions with Supersonic and given them every opportunity to do what is right and correct this billing nightmare, but they just ignore and close tickets. Absolute disregard for customer service.

This is *********, predatory, and pathetic business practice. Recall this ******** handover immediately, correct my billing to the R279 package that was confirmed, or I will take this straight to the ISPA and the National Consumer Commission. Avoid Supersonic like the plague!
