Cannot recommend supersonic 5G
I would not recommend. I have the highest plan for 5G at supersonic. They say I have speeds up to 150mbps but my download is very clearly capped at 60mbps at all times.
Paying R750 for this plan a month is very expensive to get internet that does not even deliver promised speeds.

13 Feb 2026, 10:18They responded to me two weeks after logging a ticket with “Kindly note that the 5G speed is not guaranteed, the speed fluctuates and past performance cannot be compared to future or present performance"
No investigation was done on their side to see why my speeds are not exceeding 60mbps.
It seems like they limit you to slow speeds due to the APN they use as it's not the normal MTN APN.
