My spa bath which I bought from Superior Spa and Bath about 3 and a half years ago has had 4 leaks so far.
I paid nearly R50,000 for it and it’s been standing empty now for nearly a year because I can’t bear to pay the R2100 to fix the latest leaks. The reason I am hesitant is because I know it will start leaking again within months and then I’m back to square one again drying the floor every morning when I get up and in the evening when I get home from work.
The manager of Superior in Strijdom Park where I bought it referred me to someone with the same surname as him in Cape Town and she also dismissed the leaks as not normal but unfortunately outside of the 1 year warranty period.
So now I have a nice empty spa bath in my living room that means absolutely nothing to me.

We sorted 1 issue out under guarantee & earlier this year we gave you a quote to repair out of guarantee, also offering 30% discount & allowed you to pay in 2 payments. Would you like the job to be done for free?

We sorted 1 issue out under guarantee & earlier this year we gave you a quote to repair out of guarantee, also offering 30% discount & allowed you to pay in 2 payments. Would you like the job to be done for free?

19 Nov 2020, 11:15 The 1st leak was just outside of the warrantee. I paid for the part and replaced it myself.
To fix the circulation pump, heater casing and element which also started leaking you offered 15% discount and that works out to R2194.
Bearing in mind how expensive the spa was it should not be giving me so many problems so early.

19 Nov 2020, 11:43I only find record of the one part which we replaced under guarantee, apart from that 2 invoices for chemicals, but nothing else on record over the last 3 years.
I offered you 30% discount (not 15%) on the repairs and you can pay it off.
Plumbing & Electrical has a 1 year guarantee not 3 years.

Because we only find that we replaced a 2-way switch under guarantee and now this leaking stainless steel heater casing which is unusual but it does have a 1 year guarantee.

19 Nov 2020, 11:58 You didn’t fix the 1st leak which was a pipe under guarantee. Thereafter the circulation pump, heater casing and then element. It’s R2194 for the 3 new leaks whatever the discount percentage is.

All of the plumbing & electrical components have a 1 year guarantee.
The spa is now almost 4 years old.
