Was sent an empty box

I placed an order Tuesday 04/10/22 of a fossil watch, received text confirming my order scheduled to arrive 06/10/22. My order arrived as expected but when I opened the box, it was empty.

I called them Friday to explain the situation, I was advised a return is logged and I will receive an update Monday(10/10/22) as they still need to investigate. I received a text Saturday stating that a new order is scheduled to arrive Tuesday(11/10/22) but today I received a text advising that a refund has been generate, I called to follow up as I was confused at this point, that's only when I was told its out of stock however when I log back on the app it still shows availability and its more discounted now, someone will order thinking they have it due to their false adverti*****t. I requested to speak to a manager but they just keep on sending me automated emails.
