THINK TWICE BEFORE ORDERING FROM SUPERBALIST

I have been a loyal and happy customer of Superbalist, but after my most recent experience I will never be ordering from them again. I placed two orders in which I ordered duplicates of several items. In accordance with their system, I paid for the items upfront and then requested a refund for the items I returned as per their refund and return policy. THERE IS, HOWEVER, A FLAW IN THEIR SYSTEM, in that it will not allow you to log a return for the same item twice (i.e. if you order two similar items, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO LOG A RETURN FOR BOTH ITEMS). I never realised this before returning the items, and only became aware of it once I received in insufficient refund for the items I returned.

Superbalist has now disconnected their phone lines and THEY ARE NO LONGER TAKING ANY CALLS. The only way you can contact them is via e-mail and hope for a response. I have spent almost 3 weeks explaining the (apparently very complicated) situation to them and today they informed me that their warehouse has confirmed that they have received all their items and therefore consider the matter resolved. I am R1250 out of pocket since I no longer have the items they are refusing to refund in my possession (SINCE I RETURNED THEM) and I am apparently not being refunded for these items either since 1) the Superbalist system wont allow you to log more than one return for a similar items (apparently they dont like you ordering more than one of the same item) and 2) their logistics system is clearly failing to pick up on the fact that they have items in stock which are excessive to their records.

I have tried my level best to explain this situation to Superbalist staff over e-mail to no avail. And the conclusion is a shrug of the shoulders on their part and a "couldn't care less for your loss" attitude.

PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE ORDERING FROM THEM, especially since it has become impossible to pick up the phone and speak to a human being when issues arise.
