Terrible service and disappointing "concierge service"
I placed an order for clothing items on Superbalist last week Thursday. I was pleasantly surprised when they informed me that the parcel who be delivered the following day. But the next day I received an automated sms to say that my parcel was undeliverable as no one was home. I work from home! My husband was standing in the front of the house at the time of the claimed delivery. I contacted their concierge service. A fancy name for customer service, apparently. I informed them that there may be an error and that the driver might have delivered to the wrong address. I confirmed my address and asked for the deliver person to call on the next date of delivery. the service agent, Skye-Raven Simpson told me that she would have someone call me on the next date of delivery which was scheduled for Monday, 7 September. No delivery the Monday. Early morning sms Tuesday morning informing me of delivery before 3pm that day. So, I set up in my lounge watching the front of my house waiting for delivery. Only to have another sms sent to say that my parcel was undeliverable. Again I contact the concierge service, only to be told that my items will be sent to the warehouse and my money reimbursed. I have never ever come across an online platform where delivery drivers have not made contact with customers to make them aware of attempts to deliver. Surely the driving back and forth, the constant smses and the reimbur*****t of funds costs more money than issuing drivers with airtime to call customers? I am disappointed by the customer service as they do nothing to resolve customer complaints. It is even more offensive that they label themselves as a concierge service when it in no way are they trying to guarantee any king of customer satisfaction.
