Superbalist.com Black Friday *****

I bought 2 items on Sale on Superbalist on Black Friday. I made my purchase early in the morning and made payment very satisfied with myself that i was able to make a saving. But to my surprise on Sunday morning I receive a text saying that my refund was on the way for one of my items. This was a Newton Tv unit that went for a whooping 70% off the original purchase price. I logged a call to find out what the reason was.

Kauthar Isaacs from client services emailed me back and stated that they had....However, shrinkage of inventory may occur in any warehouse environment due to damage, miscounting, incorrect units of measure, or similar issues (their words). I was highly disappointed as this was my first time buying from Superbalist but I made peace with it. Even though they didn't even give me a chance to wait for the item or make another choice, they just went ahead and refunded my money without my knowledge.

But to my surprise on low and behold the item was back on sale on Cyber Monday for 40% off this time. How can the item be available for purchase when they told me that they had miscounted their stock just a few days before.

I wasn't even told that the item is back and asked if I would like to buy it again.

I think Superbalist acted in bad faith and took advantage of their consumers. How can they say the product wasn't in the inventory but a mere day later it's back on sale and for much higher amount.

I believe that they realised that the item was going for a ***** and decided to rather save it for a higher price seeing as how popular it became. To this day you can still see it advertised for sale.

I hope this review will help others that were in my position because I believe this wasn't an isolated incident.
