Superbalist.com

So I’m not a very impressed customer at all. I’ve been a really loyal customer for years and have supported Superbalist and never had any problems with them before.

However they refuse to return an item I purchased! A pricey item which I cannot afford to just give away.

I contacted them and mentioned that this item was delivered during LOCKDOWN at that time I was not at my family home to receive any deliveries, they were left unopened by my family who received them, As I was staying a distance away and could not drive anywhere or accept deliveries at that time.

When I did however eventually get home after about a month, I tried on the item that evening, thought it was a bit heavy did not like it much as it was not what I expected it to be like. Then logged a return on Superbalist website.

The next morning I checked the item thoroughly like I do with all my other new items I receive. This one in particular was a bit on the pricey side and I expected the best quality, however I soon realised that this coat sheds a lot, fur comes out which I showed Superbalist, also stitching and cotton is hanging from the coat which looks so tacky and messy. And looks like it will get much worse over time. I then informed Superbalist about this matter.

I then receive an email from Superbalist mentioning that my item had been rejected for a return the first time I logged a return on their website, It was rejected because it was over 30 days. And that’s their rules! And they have strict rules! Not keeping In mind what this country is going through at the moment, not everyone has access to their deliveries and this was during a nationwide lockdown! So an item had to be returned within 30 days during a lockdown, tell me how that is possible. When we were meant to be social distancing, I could not get home to my family where my delivery was within that time!

Anyway they also then mentioned because i logged a return online before there is NOTHING they can do, even if the item is damaged. Keeping in mind that there’s a manufacturing problem with this item, this coat is brand new, never been worn, has it’s original tags attached

After checking their return policy I then see that it states that if an item is damaged it can be returned within 60 days! No matter what!

So tell me how they cannot assist me? When they have seen images of the faults with this item. Their excuse is because I logged a return before that was rejected. Not keeping in mind my second email I sent regarding the damages of this item!
