Superbalist - Transparency Needed

Superbalist has been experiencing technical difficulties for the last week or so due an influx of online shoppers leading to black Friday. I had a scheduled delivery for Monday 9th November and was indoors the entire day. It was only towards the closure of business that it dawned on me something was amiss. Superbalist did not have the common courtesy and decency to inform me that my order would not arrive due to technical issues bring experienced.

Upon further investigation an online agent confirmed they were experiencing some systems technical problems but assured me that my order had been processed and I would receive it within 24 to 48 hours. That was 6 days ago! A follow up email confirmed the same.

In the days that followed, I unveiled different narratives. The same explanation but with a twist. The technicians have been busy trying to resolve the systems error where orders were not being injected automatically, resulting in a ripple effect of delayed deliveries! . To add insult to injury, there was absolutely no commitment on the time lines as to when this malfunction would be resolved and when the order will be delivered. I was told to expect an sms with the new delivery date. Upon enquiry as to why online shopping was still in progress with the ongoing technical issues, I was told that only the receiving and exchange systems were affected. Superbalist could not guarantee the arrival of new orders placed during the system malfunction!!! How does one reconcile this? What happened to being ethical and transparent to customers? Why conceal the truth from the beginning? Why not communicate with customers from the onset? So much for brand reputation. Clearly the intention is to take advantage of un- suspecting customers and later cry wolf and blame it on a preexisting technical gliche!

To anyone planning to shop on Superbalist, shop at your own peril because your nightmare is about to begin. This has been one of my worst shopping experiences ever and I urge shoppers to excercise caution while shopping online with this brand to avoid joining the band wagon of thousands of frustrated and disappointed customers who remain in limbo waiting for indefinite orders. . I can't wait for the nightmare to end!!!
