SUPERBALIST - THAT'S A NO FROM ME.
To say I am dissatisfied with the incredibly unprofessional service of superbalist, would be the understanding of the year – and considering that we are in the 12th month of 2019, I can confirm that this is not an exaggeration!
On the 29th of November, Black Friday, I placed an order for a Seaford Kitchen Trolley Shelf (along with other house-hold items) for R454.40.
Firstly, I receive an email from you on Saturday the 7th of December, informing me that my order was going to be significantly late.
Secondly, I received another email from you, later on that very same day, informing me that you have “…had to remove Seaford kitchen trolley shelf - black from your order due to an inventory error.” So, I assumed you had no stock and there was a technical malfunction on your stock-taking system, took a deep breath and logged back onto your website to begin looking for another trolley… and what do I find? The exact same Seaford kitchen trolley shelf – black is STILL on your website, only now, because it is no longer Black Friday, costs R974.00.
So I have now phoned your call centre, ***, where I was put through to a gent named Thabiso (bless his soul) who said the following (and my calls are recorded so I am not making this up - This call took 18minutes and 39 seconds FYI.) “The reason your item was cancelled was because the KZN warehouse didn’t have the item itself so we had to ship it from JHB, but then JHB also realised they didn’t have stock either and so they decided to not waist any time longer and to rather refund the amount you paid for the ordered item and then cancel that specific item because they didn’t have it at the warehouse and the waybill had already been written out for JHB.”
So I asked Thabiso which warehouse did have stock, and he said, “Cape Town.” I mean, the poor ****** couldn’t deny the fact that you do, in fact, have stock of the item, because you’re still selling the item online, RIGHT NOW.
So superbalist, if I order this exact same trolley today, the 9th of December, for R974.00 and you have no problem sending it to me here in Durban, why did you cancel the item off my order list on Saturday the 7th of December?
How is this TCF superbalist, how?! (Treating Customers Fairly) I would like the trolley I ordered, to be sent to me, at the price I paid for it – If you have to get it from Cape Town, then so be it. If you have to get it from the moon, well, that’s cool too. I don’t really care where it comes from - that is the beauty of online ordering. I sit in my office in my province and order whatever I want, and then you send it to me at my office, in my province. Yes? Okay then. So I suggest you get back to me ASAP because this isn’t the only social media platform I can air my grievances on, and you still have not rep**** to the email I sent you at 10.00am this morning.
I also suggest that before you go canceling someone's order, YOU ASK FIRST! I really don't mind the delay and so your reason for cancelling is invalid and *********.
Thanks in advance.
