Superbalist has ambiguous return policies on faulty products.
I purchased a pair of shoes in June of this year. My husband wore this shoes around 4 times and then both shoes started to tear in front. This was after only 4 months of wear. Superbalist allowed me to log a return after the 30 day period and they make provision for faulty goods in their return process. I sent pictures with explanation and they accepted my request to return.
Superbalist thereafter rejected my request for return stating the shoes are damaged and worn. When I made it perfectly clear that the shoes we worn and it's clear that the shoes has a manufacturing defect causing the tears.
They rejected the request because they can't resell it again, whilst the return logged and accepted by them was for a faulty product. Why accept the request for this reason only to turn around and state that because it can't be resold we will not accept your request. Makes absolutely no sense. This is poor business practice.
This is Pierre Cardin shoes and I'm quite disappointed at the quality of these shoes as I have purchased from this brand before and they have always delivered good products.
It is also clear from the product before them that besides the torn sides the shoes is still in great condition and is evident that it was occasionally worn. And thus the tears must be due to a manufacturing defect. They are clearly not applying their minds and assessing this request objectively.
I want consumers to be weary of this practice of Superbalist, they pretend that they will refund or return items that is faulty but that is not the case. If they can't resell it they will not assist you.
