Superbalist and Payflex
I placed an order and paid using Payflex. 3 days later after tracking the delivery, today the day the package is ought to have arrived as per the tracking saying package is “out for delivery” ( apparently the system which is a computer knows when the human courier collected the items hence the "automatic updates” on the delivery tracking) the entire order just gets cancelled because as per their email the takealot courier couldn't get hold of me- yet no contact from them was attempted. I then advise Payflex that Superbalist cancelled the order and i would like to know how i go about requesting a refund for the first payment they took They sent an email advising Superbalist has not yet cancelled the order on their side so that Payflex can refund me and stop the payment plan. If they could have confirmed telephonically it has been cancelled on their systems and sent me an email advising its cancelled and when I log onto my Superbalist profile it shows cancelled then I wonder what other point does it need to show as cancelled before this entire transaction gets reversed as quick as they have cancelled the order.
You took my money and kept your items, now give the money back as quick as you retained your items. There are a lot of people out there that are not aware of the consumer protection act. People, go to the Ombudsman if you exhausted all avenues. It is not right that you have to fight to get your money back from these merchants and they cause such great inconvenience in order for you to retrieve the funds. And as you can guess I tried calling, mailing, social media communication with them, NOTHING..tried calling Superbalist now again, and wow, their lines are down..i said enough, I want my money back and Superbalist and Payflex needs to tag team their systems properly so that it actually reflects what customers sees for e.g ORDER CANCELLED. Showing the customer one thing while your back ends system shows a different status or information is a *********. That is displaying wrong information to the consumer.
